Today, at the inaugural Earthshot+ event, a convening of global leaders, business executives, and climate experts dedicated to scaling Earthshot Prize Finalists’ climate and environmental solutions, we introduced our new matchmaking platform, Launchpad.
Launchpad will connect funders to current and former Finalists and nominees and support their funding needs and growth journey.
In its beta version, the Launchpad community connects Earthshot Finalists and Winners with partners and supporters of the Prize, with the goal of unlocking new donations, investments and partnerships to further scale the innovative solutions that define The Earthshot Prize. Launchpad offers invitation-only access to curated convenings, coalitions for scale, mentorship sessions, intimate community gatherings and solution briefings for CEOs.

The online platform is now live with profiles of 24 Finalist and Winner solutions, who are showcasing more than $500m in funding needs. In time, many more solutions will be added from the Prize’s longer pipeline to help scale our collective impact.
The Earthshot Prize receives over a thousand nominations each year and names fifteen solutions as Prize Finalists. With Launchpad, we take the next step in showcasing the enormous volume of solutions received through its pipeline of nominations and connecting them to potential funders that will help scale overall impact.
