What a year 2024 has been. We’ve witnessed some remarkable progress and the laid foundations for supercharged impact over the months and years to come.
But behind every milestone is a collective effort. The Earthshot network – innovators, funders, partners and ambassadors around the globe – has come together to kickstart tangible action.
From protecting vast expanses of land and ocean to unlocking millions in funding to scale the solutions that will repair our planet, it’s proof (not that we needed it) that bold ideas and determination can drive real change.
The numbers below tell a story of this innovation scaling up and Earth’s natural balance being restored at a record pace. They show what’s possible when individual ambition is matched by global collaboration.
Here is The Earthshot Prize in 2024… by (just some of) the numbers.

With every tree planted, every litre of water saved, and every tonne of carbon kept out of the air by Earthshot innovators, we’re proving that change isn’t a distant hope – it’s happening now.
As we look ahead to 2025, there’s even more to come: bigger ideas, bolder collaborations, and unstoppable progress towards repairing our planet.
This year has shown us what’s possible.
Next year, we’ll take it even further.
