The Ceremony, which will be broadcast globally, takes place on Friday December 2 2022 to celebrate this year’s cohort of 15 incredible Finalists from around the world, each representing a ground-breaking solution to repair our planet.

What is the date and time of the event?
The event will take place on Friday December 2nd 2022, between 15:00 – 18:30. Guests will be advised of their arrival time in the weeks leading up to the event.
Where is the event taking place?
The event will take place at the MGM Music Hall, 2 Lansdowne St, Boston, MA 02215, United States.
Can I bring a guest?
The Earthshot Prize Awards Boston 2022 is a private, invitation only event. Due to limited seats, attendees will not be permitted to extend or exchange invitations without confirmation from Event Organizers. Tickets are valid for one guest only.
What ID will I need?
Photographic ID is a security requirement and there will be no admittance without. A valid passport, driver’s license, or identity card will be accepted as forms of identification.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the event is Black Tie. We would encourage guests to consider the environment in their dress choices. Wearing existing items in your closet, buying vintage, or seeking sustainable clothing retailers are encouraged. We understand that not everyone owns black tie formalwear and would request that guests dress in smart clothing.
Will I be on TV?
The event will be filmed for broadcast, so it is possible that audience members may appear in the recording. There will be press in attendance at the event. By attending, you are acknowledging that the event will be filmed and photographed for press purposes, and you are consenting to appear in these materials. The use of personal photography and recording is strictly prohibited during the filming of The Earthshot Prize Awards Boston 2022.
How do I get to the event?
Guests are encouraged to travel to the event via public transport. Take the Greenline Subway to the Kenmore Stop, walk up Brookline Avenue towards Fenway Park and take a left onto Lansdowne Street. MGM Music Hall at Fenway will be at the end of the street on your right.
Can I park at the event?
MGM Music Hall at Fenway does not own or operate any parking lots, and use of public transportation to the venue is strongly encouraged. There are several paid lots in the Fenway Park/Kenmore area which may be open on show nights.
Who will be hosting, presenting, and performing at the event?
The Earthshot Prize Awards Boston 2022 will be an entertainment show featuring leading voices in environmental sustainability, activists, and performers. Speakers and performers will be announced in the lead up to the event. Please follow The Earthshot Prize across social media platforms to stay up to date with announcements.
Where shall I stay?
The Earthshot Prize is unable to book or arrange hotels for guests. The hotels below are local to the MGM Music Hall and accessible via foot or public transport.
